Accounts Payable Clerk for Kingspan Insulation Oy

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for our globally operating client, Kingspan Insulation Oy, to join their finance team. In this role, you will handle invoices for Kingspan's different locations within Europe, working together with various people and departments. You will work closely with internal stakeholders such as accounting, customer service and plant management – all individuals involved in purchasing within the organization. In addition, you will also co-operate and communicate with our suppliers. 

The work you do has a direct impact on other departments within the company, so the significance of your work is evident. To succeed in this position, you have a good understanding of basic financial management and understand how accounts payable related tasks affect the company's operations in the bigger picture. As a person you are self-motivated, proactive and genuinely interested in finance related tasks. It is a big plus if you understand how different VATs are handled from the perspective of accounts payable (including reverse VATs) and are able to apply different VAT laws. Although the role focuses on daily postings in accounts payable, your work will also involve different investigative tasks and recording of supplier contracts. You will participate in audits and prepare for periodical closings and reports as well as other finance related tasks.

The salary range for this position varies roughly between 2300-3400 euros per month based on skills and experience. You can be at the beginning of your career or a more seasoned professional, as long as you have some understanding on the following key competences.  

Key competences:

• Proficiency in finance and understanding the basics of accounting principles
• Experience using SAP or a similar system is definitely a plus and will help you get up to speed with your tasks more quickly. However, prior experience with SAP is not a strict requirement for success in the role; someone who is IT-friendly will learn the system's ins and outs. The same applies to our Softco system, where invoices are practically processed.
• Proactive work approach and take initiative independently – The most important thing is that tasks are completed and sometimes you need to take the lead in order to get things done.
• Success in the role requires fluent English language skills. Proficiency in any other European language like Finnish or Swedish is a plus.
