Adventure guide, Rovaniemi winter season 2024-2025

We are now looking for NATURE-, WILDERNESS- AND ADVENTURE GUIDE 

Rovaniemi, Lapland, Finland.

Are you passionate about nature and outdoor activities? 

We seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Nature and Wilderness Guide to join the team for next winter season! 

Guide work is versatile and consists for example following tasks:

• Lead hiking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and skiing excursions in the surrounding areas, showcasing the beautiful landscapes and local wildlife.
• Ensure the safety of participants during outdoor activities, following established protocols and guidelines.
• Share your knowledge and passion for the environment, wildlife, and local culture with guests, offering insights and answering their questions.
• Assist with the planning and organization of outdoor programs and activities.
• Maintain and care for equipment used during tours and activities.

Work starts appr. First of November 2024 and lasts till the beginning of marsh/aprill 2025

• Fluent English language skills
• Some previous relevant experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests from various backgrounds.
• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions.
• Flexibility and being a self-motivated team-player with a positive attitude and good skills in customer service
• The curios attitude towards working abroad and eager to learn about new work culture
