French speaking adventure guide, Lapland, winter season 2024-2025


We are now looking for FRENCH SPEAKING NATURE-, WILDERNESS- AND ADVENTURE GUIDE to Harriniva Hotels & Safaris, Muonio, Lapland, Finland.

Are you passionate about nature and outdoor activities? 
Harriniva Hotels and Safaris is currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Nature and Wilderness Guide to join the team for next winter season! 

Guide work is versatile and consists for example following tasks:

  • Lead hiking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and skiing excursions in the surrounding areas, showcasing the beautiful landscapes and local wildlife.
  • Ensure the safety of participants during outdoor activities, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Share your knowledge and passion for the environment, wildlife, and local culture with guests, offering insights and answering their questions.
  • Assist with the planning and organization of outdoor programs and activities.
  • Maintain and care for equipment used during tours and activities.

Be ready to do everything, which makes this most wonderful work experience!

Work starts appr. 15th of November 2024 and lasts till the beginning of Janurary 2025 or even till the end of spring season which is at the end of March 2025.

Success at work is guaranteed by:

  • Fluent French and English language skills
  • Some previous relevant experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests from various backgrounds.
  • First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions.
  • Flexibility and being a self-motivated team-player with a positive attitude and good skills in customer service
  • The curios attitude towards working abroad and eager to learn about new work culture
